Hey beautiful people! So, as you can see from the title this episode is about success. I have done a previous podcast episode about this same topic, but I felt it was necessary to reiterate a number of the same items I talked about because I got some nasty comments from a guy on my youtube channel! He basically blasted me about being sort of a sellout, without saying that word, because he didn’t feel like I was supporting Monique in her boycott against Netflix. He actually said black people need to stop gossiping, LOL! I was taken aback at first, but then I laughed because he obviously didn’t even watch my video. The issue was not about Monique but I used her as an example only of how you should use a situation that you feel is unfair or not in your favor in business or career, and turn them around to make the most of them. What’s up everyone! Today in this episode I am discussing the protections that are necessary to prevent unethical practices when beauty businesses are hiring others to work in their establishments. Unfortunately the need is prevalent because there are many dishonest people and others with ulterior motives. As a business, there may be trade secrets and other information that the business does not want made public or shared with others, so there is a level of trust that has to be involved. So holding someone accountable by having them sign agreements is not to hold anyone hostage, but it is to protect the business that is giving someone an opportunity; it’s an exchange.
